Hawk Athletics

A three year running show on WHCS promoting Hunter College Athletics. On the weekly 45 minute slot, host David Horn would interview two student-athletes, coaches, or administrators focusing not just on athletics but life outside of sports too.

-Host and on-air talent of "Hawk Athletics" a weekly 45 minute sports radio show covering all sports in the Hunter Athletics program.

-Host both live and prerecorded interviews with student-athletes, coaches, and administrators focusing on respective sports, academics, and extracurricular activities.

-Responsible for researching, preparing questions, and producing the segments.

Treasurer-Junior Year

  • As treasurer maintained the station's $35,000 budget to hire staff, buy equipment, supplies, and merchandise for the first time since COVID.

  • Remodeled the radio room with up to date technology and soundproofing.

  • Worked on collaborations to increase stations visibility.

  • Became an audio engineer creating tutorials for members on how to use station equipment.

President and General Manager 2025-2026

  • Responsible for running the station with over 200 members and nearly 50 shows.

  • Create, approve, and organize events for both club members and general Hunter and CUNY students.

  • Understand all technology used in the station to stream shows, produce music, film videos, and record live instrumentals for events. -

  • Teach members of the station how to operate equipment, host interviews, and increase visibility. -

  • Run the club instagram page with nearly 2,000 followers as Hunter College's largest club. -

  • Maintain the physical radio station with general upkeep. -

  • Oversee the station's E-Board and staff.
